Travel by 4WD coach on the dry Finke River bed to Palm Valley, a strange semi-tropical oasis in the red centre. Bushwalk through the gorge and along the riverbed next to remarkable Livistona Palms and Cycads - remnants of an ancient landscape.
Walk along the valley rim with stunning views over Palm Valley. Enjoy a welcome picnic lunch before a short walk to Kalarranga Lookout for amazing views.
