Experience the Great Barrier Reef >>
Reefworld is a permanently moored floating adventure platform at Hardy Reef, which provides day visitors with the opportunity to cruise to the Whitsundays outer reef to see the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. Once at Reefworld, visitors can enjoy the spectacular scenery from the large sundeck, from the underwater viewing observatory, from the semi-submersible submarine or by snorkelling or scuba diving in and around the sheltered and protected areas.
Fantasea Adventure Cruising operate Reefworld, and in October 2008 Fantasea took out "Best Tourist Attraction" for Reefworld in the Whitsunday Tourism awards. This adds to a long list of accolades, as in the past five years Fantasea Adventure Cruising has won eleven Whitsunday Tourism awards, five Queensland Tourism awards and the prestigious Queensland’s Export Award in 2007. In 2006 Fantasea Adventure Cruising was the recipient of the Australian Tourism Award for "Significant Tourist Attraction" and entered the coveted Queensland Tourism Awards Hall of Fame in the same year.
